Costs
There are essentially two areas of expenses regarding the Master List site: research and site maintenance.

1. Site Maintenance. Just operating the Master List and all of its related links costs $5 a month. It is not much, but the expenses are real, and they add up over time.

2. Research. This makes up the bulk of the Master List's expenses. The majority of the research expenses comes from labor hours, which cannot be exactly measured, and as of now, I am happy to give my labor for free. Outside of labor, there still are real, tangible expenses. Research databases cost money to subscribe to, and many news databanks have an "a la carte" option that costs $3 or more for each article or artifact of information. Currently, my average tangible research expenses are approximately $5 a month. However, I expect research expenses to increase as part of the pursuit of more obscure and hard to find resources. So far, the total research expenses are $94.87.

My overall expenses are approximately $10 a month. With such low, reasonable operating expenses, any size donation can make a large impact on this site.

If you donate the equivalent to a year's worth of expenses, I will post your banner on the Master List main page and acknowledge on the main page your generous donation. The banner is subject to approval.
